Who We Are
ListToLead ("we," "us") is a tool that helps real estate agents, landlords, and property managers extract listing details from Realm and post them to Facebook Marketplace, and — when you enable it — reply to Facebook Marketplace buyer messages on your behalf and capture each conversation as a lead. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA"), Canada's federal privacy law for businesses.
What We Collect
Account creation
You create your ListToLead account directly on our website (listtolead.ca) by signing up with your own name, email address, and password. We do not obtain, import, or collect your email or personal information from Realm, Facebook, or any other third-party platform — you provide them directly to us.
Authenticating the extension
To use the extension, you enable it with the unique key from your dashboard. The extension stores this key locally in your browser and sends it to our servers to verify that your account is active. The key is used only to authenticate you and is not shared with any third party.
When you use the ListToLead extension
Once you've enabled the extension with your unique key from the dashboard, ListToLead reads listing details — price, address, property features, amenities, and photos — from the Realm listing page as soon as it loads. This reading happens automatically so the extension can prepare the listing for you to review.
No listing data is transferred to Facebook Marketplace, and no listing data is stored on our servers, until you click "Post to Marketplace" or "Post & Publish to Marketplace." Reading the page is automatic; posting and storing are always your decision.
When you enable AI auto-reply (Facebook Marketplace messages)
AI auto-reply is off by default and runs only after you turn it on. When enabled, the extension reads your Facebook Marketplace conversations — the buyer's display name, the messages in the conversation, and the listing they are about — and sends them to ListToLead so we can draft a reply for you and save the conversation as a lead on your dashboard. From these messages we also capture the buyer's contact details (such as name, email address, and phone number) and any qualifying information the buyer chooses to share in the chat — which, depending on the questions you ask, may include details such as number of occupants, annual income, credit score, preferred move-in date, budget, financing status, or timeline. It reads only Marketplace listing conversations; it never reads your personal or non-Marketplace Facebook chats.
To draft replies and identify lead details, this conversation content is processed by an AI model hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS Bedrock) within Canada. It is used only to generate your replies and organize your leads — it is never used to train third-party AI models or shared for advertising.
You stay in control: you can leave the feature off, choose to review each draft before it sends or let it reply automatically, and disable messaging entirely from your dashboard. Turning it off stops any further reading of your messages.
When you subscribe
Payment is processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details — see Stripe's privacy policy.

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which maintains industry-standard security measures across its data centres.
Your Rights Under PIPEDA
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Withdraw consent and request deletion of your data
- File a complaint with us or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention), unless you request earlier deletion.
Children's Privacy
ListToLead is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to This Policy
We'll update the date above and notify users of material changes.
